CASE STUDY
DENTO MARTIAL ARTS
Complete visual identity, apparel program, and web presence for a martial arts academy.

THE ACADEMY
Dento Martial Arts Academy needed a visual identity that reflects the discipline, respect, and energy of martial arts training. Owner Joshua James wanted a brand that would attract new students while honoring the traditions of the practice. The scope covered three disciplines: brand identity, an apparel program, and a full web presence.
BRAND IDENTITY
The logo connects martial arts culture with a modern, confident aesthetic. The mark works at every scale — from embroidered gi patches to outdoor signage. The color system is bold without being aggressive, and the typography balances strength with legibility across all applications.
APPAREL DIRECTION
The apparel program extends the brand from the mat to the street — competition gis, rash guards, and fight shorts built to represent the academy with pride. Each piece carries the crest and color system so students stay connected to the brand in and out of class. Fabric and fit were chosen for durability and range of motion, keeping the line as functional as it is recognizable.
DIGITAL EXPERIENCE
The website serves as the academy's digital front door — handling class schedules, enrollment, instructor bios, and event listings. The mobile experience was prioritized since most parents and prospective students discover the academy from their phones. The design keeps the brand's energy while providing clear, functional navigation.

THE OUTCOME
Dento Martial Arts Academy now has a fully realized identity that works across every touchpoint — from gis and rash guards to signage and the website. The brand gives the academy a confident, professional presence that attracts new students, while the apparel program keeps current students connected to the academy in and out of class.
